Regenerative Agriculture

The global food system is responsible for one-third of greenhouse gas emissions, 70% of freshwater use, and 80% of land degradation. In other words, conventional agriculture is overdue for an overhaul.

As a solution, The Nature Conservancy (TNC) supports regenerative agriculture: any method of growing food that actively restores nature in the process. There are many examples of regenerative practices, from cover cropping and no-till farming to agroforestry and shellfish farming.

These illustrations were created to support TNC’s Food for Good campaign, which aims to raise awareness for regenerative farming practices.
