California Home Abortion by Telehealth (CHAT) Study

Researchers at UCSF Bixby Center for Global Reproductive Health hired me to help publicize an ongoing study called CHAT. This study aims to better understand the experience of people who use online services to access abortion pills.

Preliminary results show that 95% of patients completed their abortions at home without extra visits to the clinic. This data demonstrates that virtual abortion care is just as safe and effective as in-person care.
